Shane O'Roark - Chief Executive Officer
- Shane O'Roark is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief of Operations. He leads and manages the daily operations at Homeland Security Protective Service with the assistance of eleven supervisors managing 80+ security officers, an administrative assistant, three dispatchers and a selected group of officers that perform specific duties in specialized units.
- With over 25 years of public safety experience, his primary law enforcement career began with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department where he retired in late 2013 to accept his current position.
- Chief O'Roark has received numerous letters of commendation for the apprehension of violent criminals for crimes such as bank robbery, armed robbery, weapons violations, narcotics violations, domestic violence, burglary, assault and homicide suspects. He has been awarded service ribbons for good conduct, firearm proficiency, tenure, safe driving and meritorious service.
- He has held positions as a district patrol officer (Central, Metro, North and Shoal Creek Patrol Divisions), Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) officer and Field Training Officer(FTO). Other positions also include- traffic officer, general detective, cold case detective and deputy chief of police of a local suburban agency. He is currently a Captain of a Missouri Sheriff's Department.
- As a tenured law enforcement official in the Kansas City area he has developed many contacts, relations and resources that contribute to the performance of his duties still today.
